Needle in a haystack but have to exhaust all avenues. My dad ordered a 1972 Buick GS 455 Stage 1 from Bredemann Buick in Park Ridge IL. 4G37V2H189750 = Flame orange, black vinyl top, automatic, black bucket seats and center console. no a/c He sold it private party in 1978. My parents were living in Chicago IL at the time of the sale. The guy who bought the car contacted my dad a year later to see if he wanted to buy it back but my dad said the car was not the same and on top of that, the 'new' owner wanted the same $$ for the car. My dad chose to pass it up. The running joke was that if my mom ever came across paperwork for the car, I wanted the information. I watch too many car programs that have these types of cars sitting in plain sight or buried in a garage etc. With the help of members from another local car forum, I contacted the Sloan Museum and have the documentation paperwork. I checked the Stage 1 registry, it does not look like my dads car is listed. I contacted Lost Muscle cars on FB as well as 3 other Buick GS FB pages. With the help of the Buick community, I'm hoping to find out information. Dead and compacted, sitting old and rusty, or in some form of 'restored' I think it's a great story to tell. Only 1 picture of the car. If anyone has any leads please let me know. post up here or send a PM. Thanks !
The lawyer guy mentioned in the other thread never got back to me. Still scouring the net to find anything I can, bump.
