Something happened and took out # 5 rod, it broke both bolts and main cap in 3 prices, and the crank knocked the rod through the side if the block and Poston pan

Here is my posting from this summer
    When it happened.

From what i can measure the rod clearances on what was left of the other look good, minus so trash injection the remaining rod bearing look good.

I have cut the oil filter apart just b4 this outing and there was no signs of anything, the 1st pass of the day ran spot on what the weather station said it should, there was no deviation in oil pressure temp was a few degrees warner, but I didn't have many full 1320 passes to compare and none in the heat, but the next pass not good.....

I dont want to venture too far away on Richard's thread here.

    Sean,
Nothing is wrong with my block. I thought about selling mine and getting a Tomahawk. The only thing I don’t like about my block is that is has cement in it. I wouldn’t mind if I was running a steel rod,as I have done that plenty, but I am running aluminum rods, which I prefer to run with an unfilled block. I drive my cars and I don’t have any problem running aluminum rods in street cars. A filled block takes cooling away from the bottom. Yes,I run good oil coolers with both filled and unfilled. I just figured,if I had the opportunity to switch blocks,I would.
