Hello to everone:beers2: , I thought I would introduce myself and my project. I am a carnut and LOVE to do electical wiring:Brow: . My current project and the reason for clearing out some of my herd is a 1974 Buick Apollo. Plans are to get as carried away as the budget will allow. My concept is kind of a phantom muscle car on steroids. Since I will be installing a Turbo Buick V6 I thought I would pay respect to one of the baddest cars ever made and brand it a GnX. If you don't know what a Gnx is I might be on the wrong board  Sorry cannot post pics but just joined the site and am under 10 post, if you check out lateral-g or turbo buick it is also posted there, although have not got a lot of feedback.

    So far sitting in storage:

    The Car
Drive train (original hot air 3.8 turbo V6 engine converted to Intercooled)
4.1 V6 to build for stage II
    Ford Powerstroke intercooler
    Grand National interior
    Full polished Torque Thrust II
    17x7 w/245 45 17 and 17x9.5 w/275 40 17

    Plans and Dreams:

    Lots of cash to spend
    GsX stripes
    C5 brakes front and rear
    ATS tall spindles
    adjustable control arms
    rack and pinion steering
    narrowed and tucked bumpers
lots of powered coated black trim
    coil overs front and rear
some kind of home brewed linked rear
    Lots and Lots of sanding
etc....If I give out any more info I may have to kill you
Anyway thanks for stopping by and feel free to leave any feedback.

Hotwired, it sounds like an interesting ride, although I am not a big fan of the Torque Thrust II's, not because they look bad or anything, but everybody seems to have them these days. I have been thinking about a set of Keystone Klassics for my 76, just because they look great, and you almost never see them anymore. Later, Randy

I know they are just such a good looking wheel :Do No: I have been looking at others and may be forced to use another style or size due to the brakes I want to use :Brow: I am glad I found this board, not much support out there for the "others" :puzzled:

Hotwiried, how bout black, blacked out window trim, tinted windows, blacked out grille and bumpers, dropped down on the GNX black centered BBS style rims and tires, all the GNX and GN badging with the the GNX brakes and GN interior? It may be to much black or it maybe a cool Buick shoulda been? :Do No:

:beers2: I like you thinking! GNX baging for sure, but I think will still need an APOLLO somewhere, black out grill and body color bumper oh yeah. Not sure on the black exterior color it would be cool but I have some other dark colors in mind but who knows :Do No:

Wheel idea is cool and have been thinking about that. Funny I also have this posted over at the turbo buick site and have had responses to put on an old crager ss or aluminum slot mag :Dou: I would like it to be the gnx that never was with some modern flare. Also have been thinking turbo BB??:Brow:
