Hello all- I just posted this on the Reynolds Buick blog- it's a history written by Jim Bell in September of 1980. It's in Jim's own words. Might be worth checking out: http://reynolds1915.blogspot.com/2013/01/lennie-pop-kennedy-and-buicks.html Best regards, Jeff Stork Reynolds Webmaster
1000 cfm Thermoquad?! That's the first I've heard of that . . . thought it was an 850 Holley?! Talking about the '70 car of course.
I have. Remember, this was a test car for Kenne-Bell products after it was a test car for Buicks Stage2 program. Cool read Jeff. I think I have that news letter somewhere.
AWESOME read - thanks for sharing it. Who - out of your typical fri nite cruise-in crowd - would believe an old guy and his BUICK cleaned up all the competition year after year ? This needs to be published - with the official records - in something like Hemmings Muscle Machines
Great read, Thanks When I got my first 65 Skylark in 69 I heard about Kennedy-Bell and wrote to them for tips to perk up my 300. Got a return letter with two stickers and a phone number. When I called I talked to Pops. He asked about my car and gave me some great advise. Super nice guy!!!!
