had a great day but broke the internal porcelin of number 6 spark plug does anyone have any sugestions to what might have caused this
Does happen every so often. May have been dropped at one time before install or just one of those things! Glad you had a good time and showed some support for the event eventhough it was hot!.
Ya I've seen it before were they break like that, as Skyhawk said it may have been dropped or even tossed around to hard before you got it, I've seen them get snapped by the socket too when they are being installed and the person twists the socket the wrong way or tightens the plug to much. I am PI$$ed that I couldn't go, I'm having trouble with tranny fluid and they wouldn't have let me run the track with fluid leaking. Is there going to be another Buick day this year ??? I know they do a mixed day, Buick / Old's / Pontiac, have they done that one yet ??? :3gears:
I had a super great time as well!! Was my very first time racing! Lots of great guys there to help and offer advice. Thanks NE GS/GN club! Proud to finally find out I have a 13 second Buick! But man was it hot sticky and humid. Drive home was unbearable. Why did I yank the A/C again? http://youtu.be/QTDizIxmFuI http://youtu.be/A3vzYIEMTeM
Congrats to the winners, and thanks to the organizers and sponsors of the event! That was a lot of fun, and a good group of people. It was hot alright.
