We usually have 200-500 cars show up New Years day for this event. Lots of cars have been coming from as far away Charlotte --a 180 mile trip.

The long range projected high temp for New Years Day 2011 is 62 degrees. We need it because it has flat been a cold December. Even our rose bushes have very few flowers left.

At the very least I'd like to come out and look. If I can fix a few things on the Green car by then I'd like to bring it, but even at that it would need to be trailered somewhere close by. The rear end being twisted makes it fun to drive!

People trailer cars there all the time. The old Wal Mart parking lot is connected.

    Jim,
I'm working on the heat in the Riv (automatic A/C) planning on bypassing everything and just make it work but will try to make this one!

The current forecast is for 60 degrees New Years Eve, clear, and 65 degrees on New Year's day, also clear. You would not guess this by looking outside tonight. Perhaps snow later for the first time on Xmas here since 1947.

I know there are a few of us planning on attending. I just have to figure out which car to bring!
