Hello Buick world. I've recently received a 1967 Buick skylark for an anniversary gift. I was told by the guy who sold it to my wife that the motor is a 455. I just want to be sure before I start ordering parts for it. Can anybody tell me if in fact this is a 455 motor based off of this picture? Thanks in advance for your help.

It's definitely a big block engine, it has 5 valve cover bolts and 350's have 6 bolts. That's the quickest, easiest way to tell if it's a big block or not. You'll have to check the number that's cast into the top of the engine like was mentioned in the above post. Welcome...... it's always great to have another '67 owner on board!

    Welcome Mike!

I like it that you weren't 100% sure, but still picked Mike455 as your board name [IMG]

Here's a little image I created many moons ago:

By the way: TA Performance, in the header of the image above, is a good address to order parts from.

Greetings from N florida. The wife me regret this gift one day when you spend more time and money with the car than her.

Has anyone had any experience with the vintage air system and the 67 skyark?
