Phil It really *is* a 350...

So did you mod those Hooker headers or did they custom fab them? I think there's a lot of guys, especially with lowered cars, that would like info on how to get a set. :TU:

I used the hooker headers for the first of what you see and then mandrel bends to fab the rest. Works out great...not sure why nobody makes them as the ground clearance is sooo much better now. This car has the eibach springs in so its somewhat lowered and now the trans pan sits lower than the headers. No scrapping !!

Exactly. I wish I could get some shortys because I could put on some old school side-pipes or make custom sidepipes using large diameter tubing with my SuperTrapps at the end, instead of them dumping under the car like they do now. Mine is lowered too and the way the tubes are flattened, I may find me some mandrel bends and try this myself. Do you have an idea how many bends you bought to fab them up? They look pretty damn good. :TU:

Those headers with all the bends ( bought the hookers from a member for $40 they were trashed ) and summit mandrels, and a collector from some sanderson big block chevy shorties ( $50 ) are a total cost $170 , plus my weld time ( maybe 4 hours.....and they are great. If someone would make those on the market they would sell a ton of em.

Mostly just for fun on the street...I will get some times when i get a chance. For now I will have to just rely on gtech for times.

I just wanted to say that your motor sounds strong congrats. I look forward to see your track numbers once you get to the track if you do go :TU: I would like to have a good intake on my motor but I like the power band it runs at expecially for street use. Way to represent the 350 crowd.:TU:

Cool. When I had mine dyno'd It went 449 you have a better intake and higher compression so it is probably around 500. It is cool to see you got it together.

switched the 750 today to an 830 annular......omg what a difference !! The throttle response is amazing, Didn't get to go too far cause I have chores still but what a huge plus. The wife says it sounds alot healthier and throaty too.....

830 cfm is too big for a 350! LOL, just saying what most cheby people tell me....

I saw gains with a large carb on a 350 on the dyno as well.
