Looking for a winter project, Opel Kadett Rallye, coupe, or fastback, restorable condition. I am in Connecticut; can travel or ship. Appreciate any leads.

It's funny, I live in CT and always wanted a Kadette Rally too, but one more like this (B Rallye?):

Looking for a B series Kadett. My brother had a '69 growing up. Would like to pair a Kadett with my '69 GS tribute somehow. Opel had a color close to my Buick and I like the marketing connection. Hadn't thought about shipping from Europe, was thinking more like shipping from Arizona or Missouri. Any idea on cost of shipping across the Pond?

My sister had a 68? Ralley like the one above in green with a tiny four cylinder and dual carbs. Not much power but a pretty cool car. I was at a car show last year and made this tribute pick with my 69 stage 1.

The Stage I badge {on the hood} was 1969 only.

I'm curious about this? Is the C rallye built in Japan and the B rallye built in Germany? My Dad sold new Buicks back in the 70's and I remember when he drove a new demonstrator home [remember when salesmen had those] back in 76 or 77? He told me it was a new Opel from Japan, anybody know the story about this? Sorry if this is off topic, Larry.

Yes, the C's are basically a joint GM Opel/Isuzu design. I believe the US market C's were built in Japan, but Opel also built them in Germany. As a bit of trivia, it was the same platform as the Chevette..

I saw a 72 Manta go for $600 on bring a trailer a few weeks ago. I had 2 Opels, a 71 Rekord and a 75 1900 sedan. The 75 had Bosch fuel injection, it was more in the category of a small AUDI.

    How was the fuel injection?
