The 455 I got from Johnny(Toymobile) Came with a Holley carb. I tried to do a search for the model or List number on Holley's site but only came up with a listing for a pulley The numbers on the horn are 1153 List 6710 . Numbers on the R side of the secondaries is 6R- 4425 B. Should I clean and rebuild it or put the new Q-Jet I had built for the Riv's new motor on there? I think I know what most of you will say. I'm open for suggestions.

Holley carb = pulley? Sell it to an unsuspecting bystander and put that QJ to use!

6710 is a 4165 style 800 cfm double pumper, spreadbore carb marketed as a q-jet replacement back in the day. I ran a smaller version on a GS 350 years ago and had good luck.

Here's a table showing the jetting and power valving as it came from Holley: http://www.mopar1.us/carbs.html

According to my Holley catalog, list #6710 is a model 4165 (spreadbore) 800 cfm. I would put the Q-Jet on without a second thought.

A free Holley 800 double pumper? Sounds budget friendly.

I took the holley back off the car and dropped it off with a friend that owns a local shop and also runs a 800HP 68 camero. Buddy will freshin it up and make whatever mods he feels approate for under 100.00. Im still within my budget with the addition of the 200$ I got from scraping the Camino.
