So I am putting together the dash '72 GS, with factory A/C, and am in search of any pictures you all may have as you have disassembled yours. As the car arrived already dismantled, I have no reference as to what order things should be re-installed. So far, I have the main wiring harness, the A/C evaporator box, and steering column installed. From there, not sure what order things should be. Anyone have pictures or a list of order assembly available? thanks Edit, could also need pictures of how A/C ducts are routed. thanks
I have a 70 GS and in the process of doing same thing. I know the Y duct and speaker and power window harness are up top. Next up was the heater core and AC box which I think you have. I then put in the main wire harness and dash. Steering next. What I found out is the bottom AC hose distribution box needs to come back out so I can put the radio in. I still have the AC hose to the passenger side, glove box and door to do. I can get some pictures later. Let me know specifically what you are looking for.
I am missing all of the A/C and Y duct work, do you happen to have pictures of all those? I will need to source them. Everything after installing the A/C case and wiring needs to be installed. The dash speaker is already installed, but the radio itself may be closer to the last thing to install as I haven't figured out what I want to do there. Any pictures you have of the dash interior would be great.
