I have a 62 Skylark and plan to replace the factory dash with aluminum sheet. I will bead roll it to dress it up and use dimple and or flare dies. What size gauges do you like? I'm leaning towards 2/58". The 21/16 seems small. I like clean purpose build items. Here is a picture of the gauge style. I imagine Oil, Temp, Volts to be 25/8. Speed and tach larger https://www.summitracing.com/parts/atm-4421
Nice choice. I prefer 2-5/8" diameter as well for the monitoring gauges, while tach/speedo choices are usually 3 3/8" and 4 5/8" diameters, depending on how much room you have. Interested to see your progress. FYI, lots of nice style choices, including old school looks here: www.classicinstruments.com Especially this page: https://shop.classicinstruments.com/universal-fit-gauge-sets Devon
