The Fisher Body Manual has instructions for performing this task. But like a bikini, their instructions show a lot, but what they don't show is critical.

    1. lower regulator arm to middle of access hole. IMG_20210829_160352588.jpg
    2. lower glass into QP and slide lift roller into sash channel. IMG_20210829_160806322.jpg
    3. Raise regulator arm/window to full-up position. IMG_20210829_161315019.jpg
    4. Tilt glass up at front and install window guide thru pressure release valve hole in door lock pillar. IMG_20210829_161321705.jpg
    5. Engage bottom-most roller on window into its slot at the top of the window guide. Move top of window guide forward and into its mounting position, which allows the top two window roller bearings to engage in their respective slots on window guide. IMG_20210829_161710480.jpg
    6. Install top-of-window-guide attaching bolts.
    7. Install window guide bottom retaining bolt.
The 1970 (and 1971) Fisher Body Manual advised to install the window guide via the access hole, but that doesn't work on a convertible. Instead, the pressure release valve hole in door lock pillar was used.

You'll especially appreciate these steps if you have power windows and your car is apart, i.e. no battery, no battery cables, no engine wiring harness, etc.

been there done that several times.
With the replacement glass, I had to adjust angle of the quarter glass outward.
