Information on PG race car from NY or PA?

    Any one know about the PG 1970 Buick race car?

    I looking for any information on a 1970 Skylark raced in NY or Penn. in the 1980's or 90's??? It has a big PG on the fender and unusual graphics down the side in pink and blue. It also had the dash cut in half as part of lighting the car. It appears to be tubbed with some really big slicks on it. See attachment

    I believe I have the same car here in Colorado as this one has the same graphics and the dash is cut in half too although the vinyl roof is gone and there is a different scoop on the hood.

    Any information would be appreciated.

    That is one great picture of it lanching. Thanks for sharing it. Do you know any more about it like were and when it raced etc.

    I took that pic a long time ago at one of the GS nats. 1989? maybe? Like John said, call Scotty. Im sure he's like to hear about one of his old racecars.

    I am the one who responded to the Ebay ad and I forgot to save the page,thus losing the email of that pic I sent you. This car was raced at Beaver Springs and I have a few pics of the car as well as copies of the GSX-TRA with it on the cover winning the super 16 as well as another copy of the car in it.I will try to post them up for you. I was looking heavy for this car after I took the pics at Beaver but lost track of it and couldn't find it..Looks pretty nice now...

    Thanks for more information again on the PG Race car. I had lost your email also as I had wanted to learn more about the car.:Comp:

    I have called Scotty but didn't get to talk to him about it as he was busy so will try again.

    I still have the car as the high bidder was a flake and never paid for it.

    As I already have a couple of Buicks and not enough time to restore this one to its former glory so I will be relisting it again on eBay.
