Ignition Sector Gear

Hello, my ignition sector gear for my 1971 Buick Riviera with tilt steering column broke. I'm having a hell of a time finding one. Can anyone help?

 

so its on the column? is it the needle part? if so you can make one out of a wire.

 

No, it's a gear that is on the left hand side of the column.

 

i half read this i thought you wanted a gear selector. that said all the columns are the same so you should be able to find it in column rebuild parts.

 

Thanks, yeah the thing that was confusing me was 5 tooth or 6 tooth gear. I guess I need the 6 tooth but then someone said it doesn't matter if you buy the slide with the gear, they just need to match. It comes in Tuesday so we'll see. Thanks though.
