I am running 650 edelbrock, Is it really undercarbed ? It was recommended
by TA. I have 300-325hp 350. 3:42 posi 9:1 compression. If it is .30 over
does this change compression ? And how much difference will a 750 carb perform?

    The stock QJet is 750cfm.

    Where in StL are you?

Have I asked you that before?

It seems to me that there are quite a few Buick folks that live in the Ballwin area.

Chris, I believe we've commented on this for you elsewhere? Factory 350-4 Buicks came with 750cfm Qjets. You will run ok with your 650, but ideally should be bigger. TA knows their stuff, but missed on this one, if that's what you were told.

I'm assuming this is a 350 engine. Don't have any of the other details. But sounds like a typical 2 to 4 barrel conversion. Low compression engines are fine with the 600. Add cam, compression & headers and 750 would be more appropriate. Easy way to check carb size is to read Vacuum @ WOT if it is over 1" then carb is too small. Ideal is around 1/2" @ WOT.
