That is funny stuff right there.

Remember when Homer Simpson tried to build a bookshelf? Yeah, that.

Use a band saw to break them apart and a coping saw to get close and sand paper to dial it in.

Hmmm. I might have access to a band saw...

Given such "background," when (if, LOL!) you finish this it BETTER end up on display in that museum!!!!
On the "bright side," the Viking ship is far easier to tackle than the three-masted Man o' War, or clipper, I initially envisioned... ;)

I'm not into these slow sail boats, I like speed. It's a 48" hydro in the process of putting a weedeater motor with the fins cut off and water jacket put on, the ignition removed and glow plug installed to run on nitro.

    Found a solution!

Nephew in Va is a carpenter, has a small band saw. We are going up there in a week. I'll bring the kit, I'll pay him to buy a finer blade, and we'll get to work.

A fine blade will be key. I use a scroll saw for more intricate work. This is a Shinto Shrine I put together for a friend's martial arts dojo before the bigwigs came in to teach from Japan.
