Just checking to see if any V-8 Buicks are going to show up ? Victor is bringing both cars (Centurian & GN) weather permitting. He`s on the fence now that he owns a V-8 and a Turbo car. As usual I will miss you by 1 week. Don't get in until the 30th. Is Otto's a weekly deal. I would not mind coming by but it will need to be in one of my other cars. The GS is in MI waiting for me to come to the Woodward Dream Cruise. Haven't talked to Chris, maybe he will be there. But right now he is pretty much hooked on his new 1970 TA.
Otto`s is a weekly deal, several cars show up every weekend. I would like to do the Woodward Dream Cruise, maybe next year. Hopefully you will be in town for one of our events.
We had a good turn out Saturday, several Turbo cars, including 2 '89 Turbo Trans Ams. All V-8 cars that showed up were convertibles. Victor Kohanski brought his '73 Centurian Convertible and trusted Dan Teel to drive his new toy, '87 GN. Emerson Jenkins showed up in his '72 Supercharged GSX Clone Convertible. Stuart Bamberger & his wife brought out his outstanding '53 Convertible. I signed up 2 new members, met new member Steven (owns a '85 T Type w/455 BBB, '98 Supercharged regal- daily driver). Also met John (aka disco stu on the TurboBuick website). He was in town dynoing a High HP GN. Dan should have pictures on www.houstonbuick.org later this week.
Sure Robert... I'm up for a road trip to Woodward next year. Think we could pull it off? I have to be there on business next week, but I'm heading up early... how about that timing?
