Hi all, Where exactly is the horn relay in a '72 Skylark? From the wiring diagram it looks like it's under the dash on the firewall? I'm trying to figure out where to wire an American Autowire relay kit as a security measure and need to find the "power input connection to the horn relay." I want to keep all the wiring inside. Thanks!
Rectangle shape. Behind the glovebox next to the firewall. Buick assembly line started with the relay. Hung it on a wire and built the car around it ...
Oh Lord... greeeeat. Not as easy to find as my '69 C10. I didn't think to look in the Assembly Manual. Thank you Nailhead. I'll trace that wire back to an easier spot to splice near the fuse block. And THAT'S funny TrunkMonkey. I believe it
yep, that where it be not too bad to get to take the glove out and maybe the radio so you can see better, hit the horn and you'll know exactly where it's at! lol
Along these lines does anyone know of a good way to track down the plug for the horn relay? I can find the double pink plug but not the black/lightblue, dark green, and red plug. I have the Lectric Limited factory gauges dash harness. Thanks Cliff
Wonder why they did that? In '68 it's in the engine compartment on the core support, quite near the horns. no disassembly required. Progress?
