If you're running a Fiberglass hood on your 1970 - 72 Buick you may have encountered the issue of installing factory hood vents inside the scoop area.
In most of the hoods we've installed over the years the factory hood vent "STUDS" were to short to get a speed nut on the bottom side therefor making it a challenge to install the hood vents.

We've come up with a cheap solution!

We had a factory set of Hood Vents scanned and made into a high quality decal.
These are the same dimensions as the factory hood vents would be. The look
as you can see in the photos is pretty darn close considering this is a decal!

Shown below are the Decals themselves:

Price on a pair is $30.00 Plus exact Shipping. (USPS normally around $2)

Shipping will be by USPS / Priority Mail and packaged with Care.

Great idea! I cut out the holes and used a dab of clear silicone at the base of each stud and then screwed on the seal plate with another dab just for insurance. nearly 3 years and they're still on there.

That was an amazing idea Todd. If you created this 10 -15 years ago . You would be Richer $$$$ Not to say they won’t sell. They will. But all the hoods that have been tinkered with the last 15

It would have brought the price of Skylark hoods through the roof

I can just see the rednecks around here that put stick on fender vents on everything with wheels getting a hold of these and sticking em on a F 150 or a Neon

If you use these how are you going to get your alternator and distributor washed when it rains?
