I am installing a Holley Sniper EFI for my Buick skylark 455 engine. The Holley manual tell me to "set idle" during the set up, and i am wondering what idle i should set. The KB catalog says that 800 rpm is right for the C118 camshaft.
Engine is 1972 455, pefomer intake, KB C118 camshaft. Thanks :)

800 RPM sounds about right. Just make sure to check your advance curve and make sure the centrifugal advance doesn't start until later than 800 RPM. Somewhere around 1000 RPM should be good. If the advance starts before 800 your idle may drop too low when you drop it into gear.

Where you get those valve covers, they're cool!
