Looks like there are a couple rooms, or closets, that may now have less than easy access. Really looks like a fun, challenging course. Nice job!
Very nice. I love this stuff and had bought my son two of those sets that you have. The tracks he would make were HUGE.
I have two high bank turns in an "S" configuration on the first lay out. Unfortunately some of my novelty slot vehicles like semi's and dump trucks do not tolerate this track because of the banked turns and low clearance bridges so I built the second track strictly as a flat track so I could have fun with these trucks too. The plans for the thirs track are to make a mult-level two lane lay out to try and maximize a smaller table space and use as much of my odd track pieces as I can. We will see what unfolds over the next few weeks. Recently I added some 1 64 scale die cast vehicles in a sort of diorama style to the flat track.
How does one add transformers to the system? I have several extra transformers and several extra terminal tracks but can't figure out how to wire them in without them providing full voltage...?
What I did with my 33 foot layout was add the adjustable power supply and solder wire to the underside of the rails. I think I had three areas of the track that were wired for power. It was a lot of wire!
