this is a sweet race in temple, tx. all '72 and older. used to be called muscle cars vs hot rods.

sounds good guys, The down side to this event is it is pre73, so the GN guys can not participate, although they can run time only, if the want to tune.

 

I have it marked on the calendar!

The flyer indicates all must wear a helmet. Where's the best place to find/buy one?

you can use a motor cycle helmet if it is snell dot rated. there is a good motorcycle accessory store in the strip center on the southwest corner of 183 and burnett. a real car race helmet will be pretty expensive, but you could get one at austin performance i am sure.
