HEI Rev Limiter

Id like to find a way to use a 2 step with the stock HEI thats going into the LeSabre. ReUsing a TH 400 out of the Regal. Its set up with a brake and man rev valve body. Would like to set it up to launch like the Regal did off a trans brake button but not rev over the stall of the converter like with a 2 step. A quick search of Summit and MSD didnt come up with anything adjustable. Has to look like a stock HEI dist.

 

That is what I was going to say........pull the module put in a magnet adapter then use that will trigger the box. Then the box to trigger the coil

 

I used one on my.locked out hei, worked very well

The MSD 8728 is a rev limiter for HEI maybe you can hook it up to activate only with the trans brake.

 

Looked at this one first but it only limits 5000-9000 rpm. This car will probably stall under 3000.
