    1. 67 GS headlight switch shaft stuck badly even with the release button pushed in. I pulled the spring away so the button so it would go in full flush and still the shaft wont let go. Think I might cut the shaft off and buy a used knob-shaft from a parts car here or ebay.
    2. Bodyman messd with my wires and now my brown tachometer wire to the coil shows a light on my probe with the key on. Kills the engine if hooked up to the coil. At the firewall I can't tell where the brown wire goes through inside the firewall. I think I'll have to run a new wire from the coil to the tach at the dash. I'd rather use the original but I loose track of it behind the brake booster and inside the car. Any suggestions?

What side of the coil is it hooked to? Should be - side.

Weird…I read a little closer. You’ll have to figure out how to track that wire into the interior to find why it’s got power feed.

If the tach wire shows power at the tach, it is normal when the points are open. If the points are closed, it will show being grounded.

Need to disconnect it from both ends and check with an ohmmeter
