hey guys i need to get in touch with anybody who's put a decent cam in a buick 455 and or a high volume oil pump......If i put in a high volume pump should i get a deeper oil pan. How large are they stock? Is that enough? I've also heard somewhere that putting a HV oil pump can create some type of lag and create wear and tear on the cam/distributor gear. That true? Also i've been told to port my oil passages in the block and heads, if i go with the bigg cam. Is this rally necessary, is buick so unique? If you can answer any of these questions or know someone who knows buick real well plaese forward this on to them. Time is a factor, i'm almost ready to start connecting stuff. lol Please help if you can. Thanks guys -Alex Robb (1972 Buick GS 455)
