I will be bringing a few display items with me including a 1970 Assembly Manual in large print (really cool), GSX article archive, GSX documents I have collected over the years including copies of what the orginal paperwork looks like for these cars.

I also plan on leaving Wed Morning.

    100+ GSX will be AWESOME ! ! !

    Hi Ray,

We have never met but I believe we spoke on the phone a year or two ago (Jim Turner connection). We are leaving the DFW area early Wednesday am and will be staying the night in Nashville. I'm not sure which route you are driving, but if you want to try to hook up on the highway let me know and we can exchange cell phone numbers. I will be meeting up with another Texas GSX owner (Greg King) in Texarkana, and we are traveling I-30 to I-40 to I-65 on Wednesday, then I-65 to I-71 to I-70 on Thursday.

Looking forward to seeing your car.

I Hate To Be Posting This......but I Wont Be Able To Make The Meet.
The 72 X Is Still On Stands And No Where Near Ready To Go Back On The Chassis.
My Customers Cars Come First And Im Absolutly Swamped With Dead Lines Coming Up On 2 Cars I Need To Get Done,so The X Has To Wait A While More.
On Top Of That I Cant Even Get Away To See All The Other Members Cars As My Mother Isnt Doing Well And Ill Be In Branson With Her Next Weekend..............hope You Guys Take Lotts Of Pics So I Can Rub Them Into My Wounds.
I Hope All Have A Safe Trip To And From, have Fun.

Hey Tom, thanks for the heads up on the moose, yep we got lots around here and they are scary huge things when on the pavement in front of you....
It was nice meeting you and everyone else at the reunion.
No moose but a few deer and almost tagged a huge wolf near Dorion. It was a really nice drive on the way home, cruised around London, Ont and overheated the X to scary part of the gauge, seems may have been airlocked??? I stopped by Legendary Motors in Milton, Ont and saw a really nice resto being done on a 70 gs st 1 with low low miles from Minny, Wow....board members car?????
Cruised around Sudbury with no probs, made it to Thunder bay for cruise night and lots of onlookers.

A huge Canadian thanks to all the organizers and attendees... for me this was an event i will never forget and now my wife finally gets the signifigance of this buick/gsx thingy i've been going on about for all these years. She and I met some really nice people with similar interests and i never got the impression that anyone had a better car than the next one, but they were all special in there own right, so for me, this is what makes owning a buick so special EH:TU: .

    here was our route home:

Nice photos Gord.:beer Thanks for sharing them. I was great to meet you as well. Glad your trip home was otherwise uneventful. .

I'm quite familiar with all those bridges, border crossing points, and Hwy 17 across Lake Huron and Superior.

I've yet to see any wolves along Hwy 17 though, plenty of deer and moose though.

I almost tagged a moose just east of Atikokan late one night last winter. Scared the ever loving crap out of me.
