until the after market blocks are pouring out I don't think adding the extra 660 would be good we don't have enough time in the day to clean up the track oil downs. Nos and lots of it with a good helping of a wimpy block = lots o parts on the track. I'm trying to figure out why everyone wants to have light weight big tired cars add some weight and throw on a set of small tires make some power and let it fly. Hell Rick there all just scared of you I figure. My bet is most guys don't even have nitrous jets as big as the small one you don't use. :TU:
to be honest most guy's that have never tried 1/8 mile don't relize that a car much slower in the quarter can run close to a faster car in the 1/8.
    5.80 1/8 = +- 9.00 quarter
    6.00 1/8 = +- 9.40 to .50 in quarter
slower car is just a reaction time away from a win and with a pro tree funny things happen all the time.

Bobb i can gauruntee that Ricks pill arent bigger then are!! and dam sure not afraid !!!:Brow: My only thing is theres no big difference with a ladder bar car and a 4 link. If thats tha fact allow those cars in. A stock suspension car is a whole other ball game that one of the reason i can respect those cars. And here in chicago we run the 1320 and these buicks can hold it. Come to Street Chaos and watch em go

In fact he was try to get me races last year but no one was really interested I found it great spent the whole night hangin with fred keith and JR. I hope we can make it again next year I will take the chutes off the back and keep the hood on maybe we can get some takers.

    Outlaw 10.5W

Here is the rules most of the outlaw classes run. We have a ton of cars in the buick world that would or could fit these rules or modifications of these rules. Most of the super 16 would be close, but say the word power adder or heads up and the buick guys wash away like a sand castle in the water. :Smarty:

!0.5 racing has taken over the hole USA in both the limited street and the outlaw classes, to boot almost every event is run on the 1/8 format. :beer

In buick land we work very hard to keep our cars heavy and even hard to keep them slow. :ball:

    Update:GS Nats. Buick Limited Street

I am sad to say:ball: that Limited Street will be passed on for running at the 07' Nationals in Bowling Green. After talking with Jim C., the Race coordinator for the Buick Nats, the class would only be allowed to run and qualify within existing time lines of the other race classes. This pushes it outside the right time line to work correctly for full participation. The class needs all Qualification and Elimination runs on Friday since at least 3 of the racers plan/would like to run Super 16 on Saturday. With the car show on Friday, there are limited hours set aside for racing and staff are not financially available if racing was to run late that evening. With this, Richard L. has set a precedence that no eliminations will run on Friday. It was in the classes best interest to look at other Buick events to shift it's venue to and not dilute and cutter the already busy schedule of Saturdays racing.
Norwalk, BPG, and possibly Englishtown or Cecil will be pursued for participation since there are much fewer "Heads-Up" classes run at these events and would require less logistics to work into these events. More to follow
