I got the right control arm dismounted. To box “weld” up. Do I need to weld the left one too? I thought the right one was the only one that needed modified.

Um, I think it's the left (driver's side) upper arm that interferes with the pumpkin

Brian I just had an OL’ School Drag Racer and excellent “mechanic “ put that rear end together. So Thank you for all the stuff! He told me to Put in Drive for (15 min) in forward and put in reverse for (15min). Take off jack stands. And go out and Get on it! Hard.

Don't get the polyurethane bushings, get the polygraphite ones. They both work as good as each other but the polygraphite ones are WAY quieter than the polyurethane ones.(no squeaky squeaky)

The brand PST can be ordered as polygraphite bushings.

    Edit: PSI to PST.

Thanks Brian, it was my CRS kicking in.(can't remember sh!7) Its been a while since I bought any of that stuff, was going by my CRS memory.

Brian, you seem to play around with this stuff a lot, what do you think about the PST polygraphite bushings?

Yeah I checked them out. They look good. Don’t wanna do this again. I have Moog in the car all over. But don’t want them in the rear

I’ve been using the PST stuff for at least 25 years now. I use as much of it as I can. There are a few things that I have solid or spherical bushings in,but for the most part, they are PST. In the past,I had to buy Chevelle body bushings for my 442’s and GS’s,but now they have designated body mount kits for those too.
