Ight so I used a standard dual drilled 2in open spacer on my SP2 4500 intake. They make a dedicated spacer/adapter for this purpose but the shortest is a 1.5 Wilson at $150 or a $60 Edelbrock. But I had the regular ole Edelbrock 4150 spacer that is also drilled with the Qjet pattern for whatever reason, as is the 4500 Sp2 is also. So I used a flat steel Edelbrock plate to cover the opening then the spacer. Now the question is this puts a healthy amount of overhang over the corner runners. In a boosted application do you guys think this should be of a concern ? Would it pull fuel from the air charge ? Would it do something strange to flow ? Or would it just go past it hit the intake floor and then go about its way? What you think?
