What parameters cause the GEN light to come on? Mine is on steady bright while running (new alternator and new external regulator), but the voltage at the battery creeps up past 16 V at idle. I'm going to try to adjust the regulator (old style, not electronic) to see if I can get the voltage down a bit. Can high voltage make the GEN light come on?
