    hi guys
i have a oppurtunity to get a 80s Regal wagon, which would be nice for a future project with a nice Sbb i will have left over from a swap.
I am wondering what body parts are really interchangable from a Regal ?
I mainly think about the front ( bumpers headlights grill etc) does this fit on a 80?

Nothing from a Regal coupe is a direct swap. The G wagons had essentially two body platforms; the Pontiacs and Chevies are the same from header panel back, and the Buick and Olds share stampings. The contours and lines are the same from each wagon swap with their smaller and four door G car mates. .Malibu wagon, sedan, coupe, El Camino, LeMans, G Bonneville all swap. Regal wagon, Olds wagon, Regal four door, Cutlass four door, Century and Cutlass four door and fastbacks swap. The ‘senior’ Gs (Cutlass, Regal, Grand Prix, Monte Carlo) don’t swap with any of the previous list. All the senior stuff (and non matching profile stuff) will bolt on, but fabrication has to be done to line up the clip and doors with the doors or quarters, deal with width differences at the front, etc. I’ve seen a wagon and a Camino with Regal front sheetmetal; they look sharp but weren’t painless swaps.
Here’s a few-look at the creases in the metal as they go from fender to door...(especially the white one)

Great info. So I will have to look into this wagon option if it is worth it for me to get it and have a fight with the wife, because I am "doing to much " lol
