I am looking for a 70 non vented, fuel tank. That is for the 70 Buick 455 ( i don't think it maters but it is a true GSX ) Not sure if they repop these or if someone has one. Mine is new but it is not for the buick. the neck sticks out a little to far.
    Thanks for the help

The Spectra GM34B is the one I used. The neck issue has been corrected, but the cap lock is clocked wrong. So if you don’t mind a cap that isn’t perfectly twisted with the handle horizontal, then let it fly. I re-soldered the one on the Tealmist car and it’s perfect.

It was too long by about 3/4". It is the correct 12" long now. Damn cap is just clocked wrong. Looks like all of their tanks have the caps clocked incorrectly, though. They line up the tabs for the receiver horizontally, which makes the cap sit at a 45* angle when tight. It should sit with the handle horizontal.

Years ago it seemed the neck was to low and didn’t have a baffle to prevent backsplash when filling up, wondered if they addressed that as well?
