i have a barry grant regulator 8an that leaks and nobody sells a repair kit. Can i go to 6an regulator with no ill effects running a 1/2 inch line?

and also do i have to run duel lines or can i run a seperate line to each bowl? thanks

You can always give it a try, just realize that the smaller regulator will likely become the new number one restriction in the system.

I don't recommend running a long, separate line to the secondary fuel bowl only. Instead, run a single larger diameter line as far up front as possible, splitting to each bowl as close the the carb as possible. The reason for this is that heat soak on the secondary fuel line can cause liquid fuel delivery to be delayed on that circuit since fuel is only filling the bowl when the secondary throttle blades are open, unlike the primary side. If the fuel in the secondary line sits still long enough, vapor lock can result.
