Hey guys I’m a long time member. Also I’m a long time neglector of my 1973 Century Luxus 5.7 . Looking for the fuel pump and can’t seem to find it. I thought it was an inline unit. I’ve checked and I’m pretty sure that (since I can’t find it anywhere else) it’s in the fuel tank. Can some one please verify for me, pleease…

Should be mechanical pump on the motor. Follow the line from the carb down and you can't miss it.

Yes I was planning on it.

I dropped the tank swapped out the sending unit. And now I have a leak at the actual mechanical fuel pump. Autoz- er uhh the auto parts store sold me the wrong pump that’s why I couldn’t find it on my car. Thanks gents for the advice I’ll let you know how it goes.

Autoblows yep they the ones. Now if we worked there in 1975 Don't you think that we would be able to find a 1948 fuel pump and be correct? lol

    yes

HRP auto parts or Bennys car parts outlet, or Forest City Auto Parts, wait, we’re they around yet in 1975??
I’m sure NAPA was, they’ve been around since the steam engine:p
