Fuel Pump R&R - Cam Fuel Pump Eccentric Position Question

    It's generally easier to R&R a mechanical fuel pump when the arm contacts the lowest point of the pump eccentric on the cam. That is, there's generally little or no load on the pump arm.

    What position does the rotating assembly have to be in to make this happen?

    Cylinder #x at TDC? ...or BDC? Etc.

    top dead centre cyl #1 in compression ( i think)
