Ok I'm putting an LS1 in my 62 and converting the front end to 5 lug. Motor is aluminum, no power steering. I'm trying to make it lighter (its already light). Its going to be a street/strip car to have fun in. It has 2' lowered spindles.
The wheels are going to be just plan https://www.wheelvintiques.com/wheels/classic.html
    15" diameter but what width?
Not sure what tire to use. I plan to run wide ones on the back which will involve mini tubing
    Thanks

You should bolt some wheel & tire combo on it and check out what sort of clearances you have to work with. Gotta start somewhere.
