Decent looking seat with a 6in split under the drivers butt. Missing the plastic knob that fits on the adjustment lever.

    Free to a good home.

John, considering that the armrest takes up space between the uppers, the upper pivot mount is in a different location than the non-armrest seat. The armrest mount takes up about 7 inches. I checked the 72 coupe no-armrest against the 71 convertible with armrest. I do not recall if the pivot was welded or bolted when I recovered the 71...

Sorry. Not even going to try to ship this. The bottom does not disassemble. It would take hours to make take this seat apart and make boxes for it. Many hours.

Not even sure Greyhound would be happy with this.

I don't think the seat uppers would attach to any bench other seat than this particular design. I think the armrest brackets are welded to the seat bottom.

This might help, here are pictures o0 I just took of my 70 leaned forward and such.

Armrest can be removed as shown and the seat backs can be slid out once the side trim and lock washer (think there was a lock washer anyway)are removed

Last one of a 70 style but I think the free one he has is a 72? Sure it is same basic thing

The question is where does the bracket connect for the armrest? I understand its a lot of work. I'm hoping to find one closer

Without taking the cover off it may not be possible to see if the brackets come off or are part of the lower assembly

Kerry-Buickcub took the seat. He only lave a few miles away. He has plenty of inside storage. I would keep it, but under an open shelter is my only option.

Sorry John. If only you were closer.
