if you need a 300 i have one and can deliver it to clevland in 2 weeks but mine is not free i will even throw the tranny in its from a 65 as well. $425 for motor, tranny, brakets that are attached to it it runs well, will pull it as a whole unit and deliver it for that. Does this motor have ANY value? Or is it destined to become a boat anchor? I'm going to have it recycled in a couple weeks if no-one wants it.
Ill help keep the thread going.... I know some of the earlier small cube V8's were alum blocks-- is this one? Just curious. I wouldnt mind having it (sounds like a good motor to play with for a project), but Im afraid Im too strapped for cash for unnecessary toys right now. good luck.

It's just the short block, and yes it will need a rebuild. It was in my '66 for a couple years. Ran great but smoked a bit. My zip code is 91306. Feel free to PM or email me if you're interested! Would love for this motor to be put to use.
