Good afternoon. I have 62 Electra and I am putting a 72 455 in it. Does anyone know/have frame pads I need to make this work? I purchased the normal engine mount but I believe I have the wrong frame pads.

    thanks

Don't know what "normal" is but the later model frame pads are different. You are probably looking at a custom install. TA sells the frame pads that work with the later mounts but you'll have to make them fit your cradle. I would bolt the TA pads to the mounts, lower the engine in where it needs to be, mark where the bolt holes are for the pads(2 that you can get to), remove engine, drill new holes and bolt the pads in.

Maybe look in to adapting something from a 67' Riviera? 66/67 went from from Nailhead to 430. Just guessing here. Please post pics when you do the job.
