I had my carb rebuilt , behind the carb shop the guy has some outdoor storage. The carb guy also does repairs to cars out back. The carb guy And owners father restored it anlmost a decade ago . Anyway the owner of the 71 Buick inherited from his late father. The son never did anything with it. It sat outside all this time and now it’s back at the carb shop tore up.The son tried to get it running himself and has no idea what he’s doing .the hindges I guess were frozen he pete’s it up and destroyed the hood the distributor and wired were taken apart. Smh It’s only been in this location 4 weeks I’m told . Here are some pics I said get ahold of the guy and ask him if he’d sell it . It’s rotting away it’s atleast a parts car but it could also be put back on the road with some attention.

Is this a parts car or is it saveable I know I don’t have a pic of driver side, it’s decent except the 1/4 was patched with metal at one time and the paint and filler fallen off at the 1/4

12lives Control the controllable, let the rest go

All depends on the amount of rust. Floors and frame are the key.

Frame looked better than expected floors may need a patch but I’ve seen much worst . Today I called the carb guy when my powersteeeing pump was giving me trouble asked if he repaired them also he said no . I jokingly said you wanna sell one of the car out back . He made a comment like give me your number I’m ganna try and get him to sell the car.
