Restoring a 70 gs. pulled the gas tank and i was lucky to have found the build sheet for it on top. In box 27 is engine code of PD? Can someone decode please?
    Thanks

PD is the code for a GS 455 engine w/automatic + AC.

Any information on the sheet to see if it is a stage 1

Stage 1 codes were PE + PF (w/o looking), if the sheet says PD, it's not a Stage 1. All Stage 1's were built in Flint.

Thank you, original sherwood green with black vinyl top. Buckets and console. I do have it stripped is in bare metal now getting the body perfect. Not numbers matching motor so am considering painting it black. I always loved a triple black gs.

My last 2 Fremont cars had really nice build sheets on top of the gas tank.

All 69 and 70's, but 71 and 72's have also been documented that were built in both Framingham and Fremont.
