This is actually put on by the Ford club but they get a great turnout of cars of all kinds. Last year someone brought their mint 65 Wildcat Convertible - Red 2X - sweet. Assuming the weather cooperates I plan to swing by for a walk-thru. Hope to see a few other locals...

Right now the weather forecast is great for this event.

Not even close to a show car but I'll probably bring the Electra just to make all the other cars look better :)

I'll be on the lookout for "big blue" this am. The Cat is a few weeks away from being ready for summer. Cleaning up the core support so I can swap in a fresh radiator. Should be a nice morning!

Great running into you and your good lady today.

The weather was just about perfect for the event and there were a ton of cars and even more piles of autojumble. Buick items were kind of thin on the ground though.

My longest one day trip in the Electra to date and she ran fine. Seeing her sitting in the sun definitely underlined the 20 ft rule as far as looks go though. Any closer and the 46 years of blemishes and some less than careful hands on owner treatment (not guilty!) start to show.

    Cheers!

Bob -- nice to meet a local. Most of the Electra's siblings long ago got "repurposed" into shelving or refrigerator doors so you should not be too worried that's less than perfect. Your saving one for others to enjoy.
