Do you have a roll back truck for a follow vehicle? Just in case.

Getting ready to hit the road,..had one of the best nationals I can remember this year,..thanks for all the kind words and support I received there and leading up to BG!

The car got so much attention I was literally blown away by it. I think maybe it's an inspiration to some that you don't ha e to spend piles of cash to get one of these things on the road and have fun. Sure the perfect trim,..gorgeous paint and flawless interior is great but for so many the road getting there ends in lost money and interest,...I'm guilty of it myself as alot of you guys have witnessed haha,..I'm always changing up my mind and selling things off.

But once again just get out there get it together best you can and then use and enjoy it,..you can always go back and improve and repair

Only bummer situation was I fellow Buick brother and BSA competitor "Brian" was gracious enough to let me use a pair of his drag radials and the right one got into the tailpipe and smoked the whole way down the track which added a bit of flair to my pass after it dumped a dustpan full of rust and who knows what else from the exhaust and quarter panel vents we'll call them haha. So it wasn't engine smoke it was tire smoke to clarify,...so yea I basically had the brakes on the whole way to a degree haha

I don't know if you put everything down you did but I think it would be cool to put up what you did to motor, cam etc. trans, gearing, that got you to run mid 12's
    Great Job.

Nice, nothing too crazy, I was curious since I have a 455 with heads it had gotten rebuilt but with stock stuff I bought this from a friend a boatload of years ago but I do not have everything, just the heads with block and pistons in it with cam everything else is missing I would have to acquire the rest. This 350 has ran so damn good over the years I never bothered with the 455.
So now I decide to try and stick in this solid lifter cam to see if I can get a little more top end out of it like it used to when I ran the TA 510 cam. I bought a Schneider that is in the middle of the two cams I have now ran in this engine.

A few pictures of the man and his machine from Friday. I didn’t get a photo under the hood.

I had to shake Ethan’s had for pulling this off. This adventure has many lessons for us all but it certainly proves David Freiburger’s point of “Don’t get it right, just get it running”

Come on guys, we’ve all got a year to get our cars ready for 2023 and Ethan proved that it doesn’t have to be perfect to have a great time.

Car required the following to get it here

Assembly of front end and locating all the small parts
Repair of fenders and rad support to mount them
    Pull frame down and over
    Repack wheel bearings
    Remove and flush brake lines
    Full brake component service
Assembly of engine: cam installation,..head and top end Assembly
    Engine trans Installation
    Flush fuel lines
    New fuel tank
    Rear bumper Installation
    Steering column Assembly
    Stainless trim installation
Then obviously the little things that add up to hours
But it's complete and not missing much,..

If I would have had the $ I was planning on bringing a N20 kit and putting 150 thru it and really putting everyone on their heels but just couldn't swing it
