John if you had a hood it should still close:).
Still waiting to get a few things out first for my engine.....
Ken is finally starting to feel better but still has a wicked cough and gets winded easily.
You will be the first person I contact when we start rolling forward on 350 parts..

Sean the goal is an all out 350 race head similar to the Supercat head. Taller but still street-able. We will see.
If you got an extra 80-100 cfm would you buy it? Yes you would need a new intake.
We are still playing with a few ideas.

Of course I would buy a 350 race head yes! And I would build another $20,000 engine to match.

I hope so. Sure would be nice!
I'd go the race head, intake & headers for probably next to same cost. No brainer.:)

This has been a very impressive thread, would be interested if there was any more dyno testing done after the first pages of the first dyno test? I would like to see this get done first before there was 350 stuff done if it is going to happen there.
Got to keep those 455's smokin first.

It has been a rough go after the end of 2019 and I hope everyone here made it thru ok and let's get 2022 back to our good time racing Buicks!!

I think a 350 race head would be a real ticket to bracket racing the 350 spin it to 7 grand like the 455 and make 600 NA and 600 TQ I think it can be done. and don't forget those 2" headers for gsjohnny!! lol

2022 is getting going;) I just picked up about 2,200lbs of billet go faster internal parts.
3 more sets of Super Wildcat billet heads are done. 5 sets sold plus the prototype set. 20220429_103656.jpg

Ethan hoping to have a better update on the casting search both head and blocks (aluminum and Iron foundry).

This is an old thread and its been a couple years since the prototype tests. Anyone can buy and install a set themselves. Total cost with a billet intake is about 20K. This is at May 2022 prices.

I don’t have or own a 350,but if you designed a head for that, could you possibly fit a 455 Buick intake or Mopar intake on top of it? If it’s a taller head with raised ports, that might be an option. I’ve done similar things like that, but not with a 350 Buick.

    That's an interesting idea.

A project like that would be nice and we have thought about it. Its easier to start fresh. The bore spacing is small and it would be easy to adapt another small block with closer bore spacing dimensions than the big block. Problem is how many 350 guys will build that motor to that level. To spend that money I would do a canted valve head pro stock type 455 head first. Before that we will machine 2 billet 455 blocks with water, we already have the billets and hope to start soon. Since we already have the files to machine a block we just need to write a program to take it from a big rectangle chunk.
We are just starting to scratch the surface with my WC head and have spent considerable money to go from 495 cfm at 1.00" to 521 cfm at 1" on a 4.5 bore. Remember that 532 cfm was on a 4.6 bore at 1.200" lift. We are the only ones who are likely to try that.

Like I said,I don’t own a 350 Buick, but the discussion was brought up about a head for it. I’ve always been one to think outside the box and do the non-traditional approaches, which has benefited me in a lot of areas. I have also been very fortunate to know the right people that are willing to go down the path and help make certain projects into reality.

Visited JW the other weekend to drop off heads and talk shop - pretty sure I saw the test run of these heads in the shop..

@KBR co./JW/whoever might know - whatever happened to the set of heads that were slated for twin turbos? Anybody have a dyno sheet of that?? :)

That motor will start with a single turbo. The intake for that motor is now in the works. Supposed to be done in September.
