    Gary,
    That thing is a masterpiece.
I bet when it fires up the sound is going to be awesome.
I like that circuit board with all those relays.

There is no RPM signal at the ECU. I was checking timing, with injectors disconnected, all but #1 spark plug out, crank it over to see timing ref at balancer with timing light, but no spark/light on. RPM shows “stall” at ECU. Crank trigger is MSD 4 magnet deal, cam sync is MSD universal. Set at 60 deg btdc on trigger, then 195 btdc for cam sync. Tried 2 different timing light, still nothing, called Holley, we tried several things trying to data log those sensors, but there’s no signal, we went thru the wiring I did for ignition, Holley said it was right and should work. I just went out and verified compression stroke, both valves are closed, balancer at 60 btdc crank trigger lines up with magnet....

Max Damage I'm working on it!

Frustrating to be held up by electrical issues, but I am sure you'll figure it out soon enough... Looking forward to hearing this monster.

Is the crank pickup the two wire magnetic sensor, or the 3 wire hall effect switch. I have yet to see on of those systems function properly with the two wire mag sensor.

My friend came over and we started checking things, Found no continuity for the power wire for the crank trigger, that wire pulled out of the pin, in the connector. After repairing that, timing check and RPM signal were there! Tried starting it, had fuel pressure and oil pressure issues,,,We did hear it roar, but I know I have to mess with timing and combo was waaayyyyy over fueled..,,, I’ll need to make some changes, once I figure it out how and what,,,,,,

That's a huge step tight there on its own. There is almost 0 chance you can lay that much wiring and not have a few bugs to sort out.

So with a power wire on the mag trigger pickup, it is a hall effect switch.. good..

I would be happy to share the tune up for the 1338 HP EFI/supercharged 555 we did last year, it will get you started in the right direction, certainly should start up and run..

Here’s a teaser.. The pic is me with that “ah, ok, why, now what” look, and a video from the “start”. You can definitely see & hear the potential... Like I said needs some changes in the tune/global file....
    Gary
For some reason I can’t post the video, but I’ll try and figure it out...

Thanks for the kind words. It’s been one hell of an endeavor! The tune was super FAT, I spent over an hour on the phone with my “Procharger mentor”, he helped me change the timing and fuel maps, idle parameters, and a few other areas that need adjustments due to running methanol. New “revised” tune has been loaded, I need to do an oil change and fire it up again. Should be able to idle, and properly adjust fuel pressure, and watch the AFR. I should be able to post a more impressive video this weekend. I do have “concerns” with my Earls remote oil filter mount is not keeping the system primed....
The kind words really help forgetting the frustration, and savor the appreciation.

Have you considered an oil accumulator? You can prime the engine before starting.

Well, here's an update. I've been having "issues" with the fuel table, and Cranking fuel flow/requirements. Large mechanical pump, and fuel injection, and my lack of knowledge, making this a bit difficult... Short version of the oil pressure problem, I need to re-do the oil line to the scavenge pump, it needs a "inverted pee trap" or Riser, to keep oil from flowing back to the pan. I had the fuel side of my global file "cleaned up" and hopefully I won't be standing in a large puddle of alcohol, flowing out the headers, while cranking it over, to get it to start.. I'm close, but feels like miles away, from what I'd call actually running. Also learning what alcohol does to oil...Holley dash is giving me problems too...... Stress level is still HIGH, every time I adjust stuff and crank it over, to unsuccessful starts, makes me cringe... Just keep tellin yourself, "it'll be fine........" Got super frustrated last week, ended up pushing it back into the garage, drained the oil, again, threw my hands up and said "F" it..... Cars gonna sit for about a week, then back at it.......

    Gary,
Yeah we all know how frustrating it can be especially when you have started on something totally new to one's self.
DON'T give up. One day one step at a time & once found you will probably kick yourself when you find out how truely easy it can be.
My two boys are so far ahead of myself it's unbeilevable with all this computer stuff.
DON'T let the let it own you. Remember you've paid for it.

At least on a positive note, you know you can supply a vast amount of fuel to the motor for when you do need it.

Sorry about your issues Gary. While your taking a break from the car you can slow cook the alcohol out of the oil. Used to see guys do this at the track. Just sucks that you're washing the walls down until you get it tuned in.
We used to run a inline check valve on our scavenger set up until it came apart internally and scared me from using that again. We routed the line up over the frame between the pump and the pan. Gave it enough slope to keep the pump primed.

Figured out the fuel delivery issue, the 5 Bar MAP sensor had an issue and was telling the ECU I was making 60lbs of boost basically at idle. That means like 650 lbs of fuel! Now I get the fuel table adjusted to get the AFR correct. Still very frustrating, but HOPEFULLY it'll idle, then I can get "tuned".
