Getting closer to first fire up. Finished plumbing the fuel system. Trying to finish Holley Dominator wiring, had to order another aux harness, still need to add in like 3 sensors, and the new driveshaft sensor, had an issue with the Inlet Air Temp sensor, had it after the throttle body, in the Holley elbow, only to find out that port is too deep for the sensor, I’ll have to have a bung welded onto the inlet tube. Injector drivers all wired up, G switch, and digital dash ( still needs an update and configuration), gotta make new spark plug wires, need to set up Cam Sync and crank trigger, prime the oil pump, buy alcohol for me and the car, then spend like a day on my laptop trying to completely configure the ECU, HOPEFULLY start it up in about a month......

Ok “2nd”. If that’s the case, great. If money and time, and more money, weren’t an “issue” Yup it’d be done. If “you” are ahead of my game, good for you.

Dude, I'd be hard pressed working on the itty bitty engine on my weedwhacker.

I can't even begin to imagine doing what you are doing.

We can all relate to why this takes a while -- but it is beyond cool and makes your user name look like an understatement.
    Keep on cranking!

Hope to finish the Holley Dominator wiring inputs & outputs and finish making spark plug wires this weekend. Since its not an LS or SBC with coil near plug, I had to make new spark plug wire retainers. Used the last of my hydrographic dip stuff, turned out good from far, but far from good.. But it fits the look I'm going for. Move on to the next problem...Hope to fire up soon!

Sent the methanol boosted Global File into the Holley ECU, shows all green. Plug wires are all made, and the oil pump is primed. Next step is new spark plugs, then prime/leak check/ adjust fuel pressure on the 18gpm Aeromotive mechanical fuel pump, and set up crank trigger and cam sync. Don’t wanna jinx it, but so far so good! First start is planned for next Saturday

The stress level is about to peak!! First start up on the Boosted Bad Buick is scheduled for tomorrow morning..... Nervous anticipation..... After a few “honey do’s”, I still need to connect the O2 sensor, verify timing, and get that damn mechanical fuel pump set to some kinda pressure..There’s been some minor hiccups in the past couple days, I thought I’d have to postpone the start, but I’m a persistent M-Fer! My moto; Perseverance thru persistents! Or just the curse of the car guy.....

Sorry to say, I have to postpone the “start attempt”. I’m having an issue with the Holley ECU, it’s not recognizing the crank trigger or cam sync. Holley can’t figure it out either, they have to send it to their engineers.... F!!!!

Sorry to hear this man. It is always a pain if you have to rely on someone else, beyond your control. Keep my fingers cross for a fast solution!

    Gary,
When you say it won't "recognize" the cam or crank signals, are you basing that on it not comparing and syncing up correctly in the key on/ecu software linking phase?

I have done 4 BBB Dominator/DIS systems now, all used a crank trigger with a hall effect switch, and then the hall effect switch in a V-6 cam sensor, and have had great luck.

What are you using for sensors?
