I removed the fenders off my car to paint. I also installed a used inner fender. Went to reinstall the fender and now the fender hangs too low. Any suggestions.

You will want to or need to go thru the whole Procedeure of installing the front sheet metal as outlined in the Chassis Service Manual. It's a tricky job with fresh paint, but, can be done. Hopefully you have a helper to remove the hood. You will need some body shims and tape measure. I'm not sure what car you have, but, the procedure is basically the same for GM a-body and big cars. By following the prescribed procedure your end result will be nice without having to re-do stuff you already did, as, one adjustment often affects another. There was a thread on this board that walked thru the procedure - do a search. Make sure you have a good shim kit on hand. There is a shim kit that provides a generous selection of body shims ranging from 1/32" - 1 /8".
