    Not to worry!

I wouldn't worry too much about the tools guys, as I'm sure Gary is using a mock up block with minimal internals. Steve

Still using a Chain,I didn't quite have the tech. to completely dry up the front of the Engine*yet*.

Material is 6061 and will be "hard anodized".

Hub will bolt on through the front with 7/16" NF and the two 5/16" on the Cam.

    Hey Mike
I don't think there will be any power gain,I just believe it takes ALOT of stress off the block and heads to use a Motorplate.
This is prep for any power I throw at this car in the future.

Thrust between the block and cam,Then we will fab a "bridge" type of deal that will limit the front side but be adjustable,Hard to explain but pictures will do the trick when it's done.
Been working my ass off to get this car back together.......

I went through the idea of a a direct drive but it would have put the distributor in a bad spot for space constraints.
    Thanks for the compliments.

Good question since I never really followed up here...
Everything worked like a charm,The very first pass on the car was the quickest ever after the 2 years off.
Then it got faster the next two times out.....
The car has been somewhat neglected and not raced or tweaked very much since the last update.
But the front cover and belt-drive dist. performed flawlessly through about 75passes and a few street miles from fall of '06 up til this spring.
I only ran the car once in '09......It's kind of on th back burner unfortunately but I'm still proud of this creation.
Here's the last pass back in May,It gets cut off but I went 9.55.

Cover looks great. The car run outstanding. The engine really likes accurate timing.
