I ran one last year and will again this year the only issue I had was my headers were to close to the pan. I have a custome set of 2 1/4 tube headers and they are really close to the pan. Mine is a big block rci I think it is the one jegs sells for 249.00 that is sfi appvoved. The first time on the car it was a pain in the @ss but after that no issue at all. they pull up tight so ground clearance should be an issue.

Guys, Be aware of the fact that your oil temp is going to go up when you install one of these diapers. I have a customer with a 720 HP 494 in a Super Gas car, with an oil temp gauge.. I am pretty sure he told me that they noticed a 20-30* increase in oil temp, after they put the diaper on last year. He does have an alum pan, so with a steel pan that does not transfer heat as well, the increase might not be as much. Just a factor to consider.. My tube car will have a acceptable "catch tray" just for this reason. JW
I just had the chasis tag redone on my car last week so I asked this guy from div 6 what is the deal with diapers he said "you don't need one only the super class cars not any sportsman cars" I said are you sure he said "yes" so no diaper for me:3gears:
